The Ultimate Blog Party 2011 is going on and it appears I’ve arrived very late. I didn’t even know there was a party until March 7th. Oh well, better late than never I guess. So far I’ve only visited a couple dozen of the other party stops but I’ll keep visiting all month.
For more information about the party visit 5 minutes for Mom.
If your stopping by from the party (or however else you got here) welcome to my little corner of the world. My name is Lucinda. I’m a stay-at-home mom who homeschools my two teenagers (1 boy, 1 girl). I have been married to my best friend for over 20 years.
I’m new to blogging (I’ve only had a blog for about a month) and relatively new to the blogosphere (I’ve been blog hopping for less than a year). So far I’ve enjoyed my time spent here.
I know there’s not much here yet but I’m working on it. I actually have close to a dozen posts started I’m just having a hard time declaring them finished. (I have a hard time letting other people read my writing and am trying to use this blog to help me get over it.) I have at least 4 posts planned for next week (a blog about books, a book review, a homemaker Monday post, and at least 1 more) and I’m going to make myself post them no matter what.
I can’t tell you exactly what this blog is because I haven’t actually decided yet. I intend to talk about all sorts of things; crafts, cooking, homeschooling, books, video games, gardening, nutrition, home decorating and remodeling, just chatting, and perhaps occasionally venting. It may turn into a blog about only 1 or 2 of these things or into something else entirely. If there’s anything in particular you see you like be sure to let me know. Whatever this blog turns in to it will include (even if only a little) my family, my faith, and books. These three things are the main ones that make me who I am so they can’t be left entirely out of anything I do.
If you let me know you were here I’ll be sure and return the favor (it might take a few days though). I hope you haven’t felt like this stop was a waste of time and I hope you’ll stop by again sometime. I’m looking forward to getting to know a lot of you out there in cyberspace and letting you get to know me.
